Whistleblower numbers blow up over tracker scandal

The Central Bank banned banks from appointing their own auditors as independent overseers. This has led to a merry-go-round for the big four firms, with banks appointing each others' auditors. KPMG, which has no bank audit clients, is the tracker overseer at AIB, Ulster Bank and Permanent TSB.
